Konnichiwa my PICOfreaks! Have you been traveling to Japan in PICO?

Since it's summer, it's time for a matsuri! A matsuri is a type of local festival in Japan. It's a nice break from the hot day to go and celebrate with tons of fried food, fun carnival games, fireworks, and dancing! Grab your festival clothes and let's celebrate!

You can find the matsuri event on your Travel Screen!

The thing to wear in matsuri is the yukata! They're like lightweight kimonos! You can also buy happis (they make you happy!) from Shigeo-san at the matsuri.

What a cute pond! Shame I can't try to catch balloons for free!

There are so many different pattern yukatas at Shigeo-san's shop! Be prepared to part with hard-earned PICO gold! The best thing in the shop however, is the Japanese Bon dance! With this dance, you can properly dance during matsuri!

The most noticeable thing at the matsuri is the giant yagura they built in the middle! According to tradition, you are supposed to dance around the yagura! Atop of the yagura you can see a very spirited taiko drum player! He's very loud!

The taiko drum player reminded me of my brother, Gio-tan, who also plays taiko! Matsuri brought on so many nostalgic feelings for me.

I decided to dance around the yagura clock-wise facing away. Direction is very important when dancing. Some fun things to shout while dancing are: "a doshita!" ''a sore!'' "a yoisho!," and "sate!"

While Shigeo-san's goods were mostly in PICO gold, there is a RO8O shop that sells sparklers for gummies! They come in different colors and are very pretty.

A race against time!

There's a fun game in Japan where you race with friends to see whose sparkler lasts the longest. I like to make as wishes as I can on my sprinkler before it goes out. If I reach 20 wishes, then they all come true!

Aw shoot! Maybe next time.

After awhile, the matsuri winds down and becomes very quiet. Even though there weren't any fireworks at this matsuri, I had a lovely time gazing at the stars under the paper lanterns.

It's so romantic . . .

Aurora-tan's Prom Date!

Hi everyone! This is Aurora-tan!

As you know, there is a prom going on in PICO! When I first heard the news I was so thrilled, and soon received a letter from my good friend Sexy Sokka. It asked for me to meet him at the fountain . . .

There he is! I wonder what he wants . . .

It turns out that Sexy Sokka asked me to the PICO Prom! I was so flattered, of course I said yes!

I'm so excited!

I never knew Sexy Sokka had it in him!

Well, the first thing I had to go was get a new dress! Here is my latest little number . . .

Fully dressed, I met Sexy Sokka inside the school and we strutted down the hallway in style.

When we got to the gym, it was decorated so nice with a grand dance hall, balloons, streamers, and Prom Sign! It was the perfect photo op!

They really outdid themselves this time!

After that we grabbed a table and drank some punch. I think someone spiked it, because soon we were feeling pretty excited!

There was only one thing to do, dance! We soon found ourselves boogieing on the dance floor. We danced until the last couple left. It was so much fun! Afterwards, we headed to Make-Out Park for a little after-party . . .



Mwuah! I gave Sexy Sokka a kiss for the wonderful night. We both went home pretty happy that night! I hope you all have great PICO Proms too~

Meet Pangerbon! Fashion kitty!

Hi everyone! Aurora-tan here~

Today I would like to introduce you to my cute pet, Pangerbon. Say hi, Pangie!

She is so cute, I love her cinnamon fur~

Pangerbon is my adopted kitty. I purchased her from the New Zealand area. She cost four real dollars, but she's cute as a button. Another thing about Pangerbon is that she looks cute, but she has a serious eye for PICO fashion!

It's hard to keep choosing outfits everyday to keep her interested.

so far I only see hats in there ...

After much deliberation, I finally can choose an outfit Pangerbon would be proud of!

Be careful in choosing outfits everyday. It's important to stay original and cute. Otherwise, you may end up looking the same as another PICO!

Aurora-tan's Happy Birthday

Hi everyone! Aurora-tan here! Today was a very special day for me in PICO. It was my birthday!

I had my very own PICO birthday party! There was plenty of cake for all. Cat decorated her place with cute balloons and birthday candles. The candles were green, obviously! My favorite color.

Time to blow out the candles! Happy Birthday to me~

Also today PICO released cute Girly Lolita items! Just in time for my birthday~
I rushed over as soon as I could to buy myself a PICO Birthday gift.

Hi guys! Aurora-tan here! I'm an honorary member of PICOholics! I might be somewhat of the wacky one? Or the cynical one? Who knows. In any case, I love PICO, especially since you get to dress up your little PICO person. Make sure to dress up your PICO everyday to get 50 free gummies!

Lately, I've been having a hard time making up outfits! I love stripey things and socks usually, but sometimes you just want a little more pizazz!

My latest fave is to combine outfits with my cute Cat Ears! They're called nekomimi in Japan, and they are so cute!

Of course it has to be the cat ears!

I like mixing the ears with headbands for ultra cute effect!
